the experience

Before the Session

Every session begins with a conversation. Before we ever pick up the camera, I take the time to learn about you, your story, and the moment you want to capture. To me, photography is about more than simply taking pictures—it’s about preserving a meaningful season of your life and freezing it in time. Whether you're celebrating a milestone, documenting your family, or capturing a special chapter in your life, the planning stage helps create a session that feels intentional and personal. I’ll guide you through the process with help choosing locations, outfit suggestions, and tips so you feel prepared and confident before your session day arrives.

During the Session

When session day comes, the focus is on creating a relaxed and enjoyable experience. I’ll gently guide you with natural direction so nothing feels stiff or overly posed. My goal is to create an environment where you can simply be yourself. The most meaningful images often come from the in-between moments—the laughter, movement, and genuine interactions that naturally unfold. Sessions are meant to feel less like standing in front of a camera and more like spending time together while I capture those authentic moments.

After the Session

After your session, I carefully go through each image and hand-edit them to create a gallery that feels cohesive and timeless. My editing style focuses on natural tones and subtle refinements that enhance the beauty of each photograph while keeping the moment authentic. Within a few weeks, you’ll receive a private online gallery where you can view, download, and share your images with family and friends. From there, you can also turn your favorites into prints or albums so your memories can live beyond the screen.

My Promise

My promise is to create more than just beautiful photos. I strive to give you an experience that feels meaningful, comfortable, and genuine from beginning to end. Every image represents a moment in your life that deserves to be remembered. My goal is to preserve those moments in a way that allows you to revisit them for years to come—so when you look back at your photos, you don’t just see the moment, you feel it.

Because the most meaningful moments deserve to last forever.
